Requirements for all Glenbard Security Inc. Team Members

18 Years of Age
Currently posses a valid PERC (Permanent Registration Card) or have the ability to obtain one prior to starting employment.
Reliable Transportation to work
High School Diploma or GED
Pass a rigorous background check including the following:
- Criminal History
- Driving Record
- Previous Employment
- Personal & Professional References
- Education
Successfully pass a drug screening test
MOST IMPORTANTLY – Be of good moral and ethical standards

Unarmed Security Officer

State of Illinois 20 Hour Security Officer Training. (See our Academy for course dates)
Must be able to pass an extensive psychology examination

Armed Security Officer

Must be 21 years of age
State of Illinois 20 Hour Security Officer Training
State of Illinois 20 Hour Armed Training (Re-qualification within past year must also be provided if training was conducted prior than 2 years ago)
Obtain a passing score on the State of Illinois Firearms Certification Test

Security Officer Supervisor

Must be 21 years of age
Minimum 3 years experience in the security field
Excellent leadership skills
Valid Drivers License with clear driving record

Sales Manager

2 Years prior experience in sales. Preferably in the security services industry.
Excellent client service skills
